Construction around gas station

Does anyone know what (and when it will be built) is going to be constructed on both sides of the gas station on Truro Parish? Thanks.

 

I heard that there is going to be a Wachovia Bank branch there, but I'm not sure of the time frame.

Sort of OT: Did you guys know there is a Quizno's going in at the lime green strip mall? We were just over there and it was a surprise to me.

 

Someone told me a Burger King was going in over there...

 

"Eat Quizno's subs because they are good to eat, they have a pepper bar", I loved that commercial and they do have great subs yippeee for us!

 

I wish we had a REAL deli around here. Subway disgusts me. Quiznos is better, but still no deli!

It's amazing how a rumor persists.
The story that a Burger King was going in was started by a group of middle school kids who told the gas station attendant "Gee, I hope they put in a Burger King." This attendant then repeated it as if it were a fact to anyone that askeds. I have been asked, and refuted, this rumor dozens of times, yet it continues...........

Wachovia bank is going in on the corner. Come to the Oct. 7 meeting for more details.........

 

Yes; it's sad that most of the new shops going into these shopping centers are usually part of a chain rather than any original family owned businesses.

 

Thanks for the replies. Another bank going in? How many do we need in this area? At the Food Lion shopping center they already have three banks (or will once Suntrust opens across the street), at the Broadlands one they have Chevy Chase and Suntrust in the Safeway, they are putting a Wachovia in at the Shoppes at Ryan Park (along with a Giant) in front of Home Depot, they have a Wachovia over at the SFW shopping center, and others at the remaining Ashburn Shopping centers. It would be nice to have some variety in stand alone restaurants like say a Chik-Fil-A or a Wendy's in the area (more sit down places would be nice, but that location is too small for a sit down restaurant).

 

I just wish one of them was a Bank of America.

How many times to people need to actually go to the bank anymore? Loans and daily deposits for small businesses and that's about it.

Lordy, how many do we need?

 

A Chick-Fil-A up by Rt 7 is almost as far as going to the one by Lowes unfortunately. I am still trying to figure out if any restaurants have signed leases for the Ryan Restaurant Park (the four pad sites along Ryan Rd. in front of Home Depot).

 

I havn't heard that its going to be a Giant, where was that info found ??

Just what we need: another giant. They can't do a decent job of running the two they already have in Ashburn. I'm still hoping for a whole foods or magruders or something decent in one of the centers nearby.

 

Oh good grief .. along with ANOTHER Wacovia Bank as well as another Exxon !!

I guess they're figuring it'll serve the Ryan Road, Brambleton area; an d they'll have it in before the Harris Teeter. However, don't despair, VanMetre has some commerical land and they're talking about another supormarket ... no word on the chain.

Looks like they're clearing the second pad now on the other side of the gas station (not Wachovia bank). Does anyone know (for real) what that is going to be?
