Crazy for You @ Briar Woods!

Briar Woods Black Forest Productions, the drama department, would like to invite everyone in the community to their performance of Crazy for You! Our final mainstage production for the year. This fun performance features the music of George and Ira Gershwin.

Crazy for You follows the story of Bobby Child, an aspiring Broadway dancer who is stuck at work in his mothers bank. His mother sends him to foreclose on an abandoned theatre, and he takes the job to escape from his obsessive fiancee Irene. When he gets to Nevada, he falls in love with the owner of the theatre, Mrs. Polly Baker. She hates him because he is there to take it, so he comes up with a plan to save it.
A few weeks later, Bobby comes back dressed as the Famous Bella Zangler, a big time New York showman, and brings his dancers. The plan to put on a play to save the theatre, and win Polly over! Hijinx and problems hinder the way, making for a hilarious show! Come to see how it turns out.
