I'm building a fence and want to use day laborers. Anyone use them? And whats the average pay they expect?

Most of my builders never have used them much, only on an occasion.

8 to 10 dollars an hour depending on their skill level. Some less some even more!!

It is always nice to have drinks especially water and even food for them!!

We hired some to help us paint a fence and our deck. We paid $10 an hour and they did a great job (they walked awy from our $8/hr offer!). They were very nice and very hard working. We did give them lunch and drinks.

Yep most of these people do work hard. It will be a real shame if we cannot find a win win solution to the immigration problem!!

Thanks all for the feedback! I know 7-11 was the place but didn't they move it where the old Sterling Police station was?

Hey, Lee you will be glad to know that the current Bill on the table makes Day Laborers into 'Guest Workers' who will get better benefits then Americans such as being unfireable unless there is cause! We don't get that unless you are Government.
