Deck - Iron Rails Question

    This is for the HOA peeps.

    Before going the official route, are we allowed to use iron rails instead of the typical wood slats when building a deck?

    We live in Southern Walk - Courtyard home. TIA

    Each request is on a case by case basis. We have authorized these on SFH in the past, will probably never do so in townhouses as we expect a consistant (as much as possible) look to them.

    Not sure if we've approved any in the Courtyard homes, again, when you submit the request, we need all the paperwork as listed in the Guidelines, and have a 2nd choice for the railing just in case.

    Let me know how it goes. I am considering a deck myself and the iron railings are the desired choice too.
