We are in the planning stages of some landscaping for our front yard and a question was raised by the designer that I was not sure what the appropriate answer is to his question. The designer was wondering if the walkway that leads from the front of the house which needs to be replaced due to severe settling issues (front yard is sloped) could be redesigned so that it would go to the driveway as it does now, but also branch off and go to the sidewalk in front of our house. I looked around the development but I don't see any walkways that have this type of feature and I couldn't find any specific guidelines in the HOA Design Guidelines. I was wondering in anybody had experience with this type of request? I know that we need approval for some aspects of the landscape design, but before we go and get everything drawn up by the designer I thought I ask on here first. Thanks!
