Dirty water coming from tap

    Has anyone else noticed that the water coming from the taps today looks dirty? I called LCSA and they said that it is usually caused when they are flushing the fire hydrants but they haven't had any reports of the hydrants being flushed in this area. She is supposed to look into it and call me back.

    no, but we've had some random issues with water pressure. not sure if it's related, but they seem to be cleaning the water towers on belmont.

    It turns out it is from hydrant flushing and if you let the water run for about 5 minutes it clears up.
