Does anyone know where I can dispose old gas (left over from lawn mowers, weed whackers, etc.)?

    Thanks.

ExxonMobil will pay you $0.30 for it and sell it back to you for $3.00

Seriously, though, you can go to: http://www.loudoun.gov/oswm/hhw.htm and see about the Household Hazardous Waste program. I think you just missed the date in April, but the next is in mid-May at NVCC in Sterling.

Actually, unless its mixed with oil for 2 stroke engines, you can add it to a 1/2 to full tank of gas and not have much of a problem.

I'd only add a 1/2 gallon at a time to a full tank, but its a safe way of using up that old gas.

I have always taken the little bit of old gas (less than a gallon) and put it into my truck. The larger engine can handle the small bit of impurities that may be left over from winter storage. It's never caused me a problem, and is a good way of getting rid of it, without dumping it somewhere.
