Anyone know anything about the torn down street signs along Vestals Gap/Chickacoan/Glebe View?

The same time that I noticed my corner street sign got pulled down, my garden bench and birdbath got dismantled, thankfully neatly. It was annoying because the items were too heavy for me to put back together lol! So I left them dismantled a couple of days until some goodhearted strong person put them back together. Thank you, whoever did that. So we have gremlins and angels in the same neighborhood. I'm really thankful that the gremlins weren't more destructive because those garden items came from my elderly mother and are very special to me.

We called the county about the signs. We wanted to secure our street sign in our garage and asked if we could do so to guard it from being stolen.
The woman said "no..." it was too dangerous to pick up!?
So a few days later the county guys came over to our corner and rang our door bell and asked if we had the sign.... by any chance.
We said no of course... and explained what we were told by the county.
The guys were very nice. They told us they have to order new signs now and they cost up to $400 a piece.
    Nice. Thanks neighborhood kids.... not

Hmm...the 3 street signs I saw down last week were actually back up within 2 days, so there must have been other ones hit that night too.

This is great news that the other signs were accounted for.
My hubbs is quite upset that he did not just secure the sign in our garage despite the "warning of self injury" by the woman on the phone from the county.
