Driving School Recommendations

    I'm looking for recommendations for local driving schools for my high schooler. If you know of any driving schools I should stay away from because of bad experiences, please let me know. Thanks for any assistance!

    I know you are probably looking for an on the road training school, but I have instructed at a program called street survival which teaches more about car control. They purposely place students in situations like understeer, slalom, emergency stopping, effects of distracted driving, etc. Numerous peole have told stories of how this class saved a life because the young driver did not panic in a scary situation.

    It is a one day event and they use the car they would normally drive - so they get actual experience.
