That's interesting about the Fractured Prune. I think I saw them on the Food Network.

They make them fresh while you wait & there are TONS of different glazes & toppings. They have specialties (like the Reese's - peanut butter glaze & chocolate chips). You can also mix/match or just get them naked:) The one I went to also made bagel sandwiches & it was SO good - and too hot to eat right away..that never happens:)

Although another Starbucks is hardly necessary, having a drive-thru would be sweet. Scones on the go!

Just drove by the DD site and there is sign that says for lease. Think we could get them to reconsider and put one in the Southern Walk shopping center?

I'd rather see a real Tea house. Not a fan of coffee or DD. I've gone over to the dark side of wanting to be healthy. No more trans fat exists in this house. everybody in the family is reading labels for partially hydrogenated process. Good luck to those who love DD. We were a Krispy Creme family...but rarely ate any.

Costco sells big bags of DD coffee and it is pretty close to store brewed.

The DD was to be flanked by 2 other retailers...perhaps the for lease sign refers to the 2 other units???

For all those DD coffee lovers--I went to Harris Teeters today and found out they just started carrying DD coffee!

Anything new with DD plans in Broadlands? Has this slipped through our fingers... gone forever? :conf2:

Anyone with any updates would be much appreciated.

I would have killed (well maybe not) for some donuts the other morning. Had to settle for some pastry at Wegmans. Is it too late to ask for a Crispy Cream as a wish for Loudoun County?

How do I get the name of the owner of the DD franchise in this area? Is the problem them, or the builder of the outbuilding? If it is the franchisee, I'd gladly buy it from them!
