    Hi all,

I know college applications are now in full swing and so I wanted to reach out! In the year since I have started growing my business in the Ashburn area, I have had the privilege of working with some amazing local students in Ashburn (BWHS), Leesburg, Fairfax County, & Landsdowne as well as working remotely with some clients around the nation.

Did you know that early action is (generally speaking) the best strategy for college admissions? Did you know those deadlines are in October and November? Does your student have a dream school, or a "it's-just-not-guaranteed" school on his/her radar? Go for early action (EA) if you can! Or early decision (ED) - but that's a whole other ball game with its pros and cons.

While I am unable to take on any more students for my extensive soup-to-nuts advising & support package (I keep quantity low to preserve quality as this entails about 40 hours of work per student until all applications have been submitted), I still have some spots available for my essay assistance package - this entails working with a student on the main college essay (or sometimes a student will instead choose help on an essay for a dream school) from start to finish. It is my most focused, clear-cut, and affordable package. And you get more bang for your buck because that one essay can be used for multiple schools and I share bits of admissions strategy and advising as that is simply organic to the process. I am a college admissions nerd and I absolutely adore working with students so I don't hold information hostage!

You may learn more about me at www.collegefitadmit.com and reach out to me at info@collegefitadmit.com and I offer free consultations.

    Happy application season, seniors!

Do you proofread the essays as extensively as you did this thread's title?

Ouch. That's fair. Yes, I saw that and the edit function wouldn't let me correct the title as far as I could tell. And yes, I certainly don't edit my student's work on an iphone while rallying the troops into the car on a Friday night! And further, the work goes way beyond "proofreading". Anyone can do that and that's not the focus. We build concepts, hash out what's most important to that student's narrative, and think strategically about the overall message given who that student is and the receiving audience.

Thanks for the extra push, Mike! I found where to edit the title! :2thumbs:
