Does anyone have any recommendations for a faux finish painter?
    Thank you.

ok woopity, lets put that to the test. Do you have any pictures your could share? I am getting very interested myself and would love to see how this could look or work in certain applications. I would love to see a real world use of this technique... perhaps e-mail?

    thanks

the color washing was in my old house---so i can't provide any pictures of that. the technique i used was to paint the wall a maroon color--and then brush the opaque glaze stuff on, starting in X's...and eventually spreading it across the whole wall. almost made the wall look like i had put maroon slate up. Looked good.
I can provide a picture of the sponging ON i did in our current bathroom. PM me your email and i'll be glad to pass along a picture. Basically..i rolled two coats of a light shade of blue (to cover up the hospital white the builder left me)..and then using a quart of a darker blue that gets mixed with a faux glaze---sponged on the dark color.
