Is there a reason for such a request ?? Planning to take out the laundry room ?? I'd find a Fitzgerald still in construction (if not here, maybe at their site on Rt 50) and check out the 'bones'.

I would just like to remove the wall that is between the mudroom and the laundry "room", for lack of a better term, and open up the area.

Generally, you can check the spacing of the studs in the wall. If it's built to code, a load bearing wall will have studs spaced 16 inches on center. Non-load bearing wall studs are spaced 24 inches apart. But it would still be a good idea to find one under construction or check with the builder.
