I have moving boxes left over from our move here. Most of them are copy paper boxes (good, sturdy boxes for books and such).

If anyone needs them, they're yours!

Meanwhile, I want them out of my garage. If nobody needs them, what can I do with them? I flattened some boxes, but the recycle group left them on the curb. Is there a recycling facility in town that takes flattened boxes?

    I appreciate any info!

Seems odd that they left them on the curb, I've seen them take large piles of unflattened cardboard boxes. Maybe they thought they were pizza boxes? I know they don't take them because there's too much grease to recycle them.

We're in a townhouse on Frame Square, 21719, the end unit. It's near the intersection of Waxpool and Demott Drive.

We'll be here most of the day, perhaps doing errands or going to the pool later. I'll put the boxes in my driveway if we're out, and you're welcome to them. Thank you!!

From my observation, the first Patriot truck took the recycle stuff out of the black recycle box and left the flattened moving boxes. The second truck took them. I'm still trying to figure out the trash/recycle rounds :)

We had the recycling truck leave our flattened boxes one week. I was SO excited to have them out of the garage, but then they didn't take them. I lugged them back in and tried putting them out again the next week. I made sure to put them close to the recycling bin (either on top or under) and they took them the second try. Still don't know why...

I'll try again this Thursday. Still have lots of flattened boxes.
Maybe my second time will bring better luck :)

But someone did get the copy paper boxes. That helps! Thanks!!
