Has anyone had an furniture refinished (stripped and finished)? If so, can you provide any local places that do this?

We used Restorations Unlimited in Sterling for a circa 1940s high chair. They weren't the cheapest but did a fantastic job.

Don't use Ingleside. They use STINKY varnish. You can barely breath when you walk into their front office. We had them do one piece for us and I had to have the drawers out for 2 months before they no longer smelled.

I took my 1930's low Chinese black laquered table to Haridi @ http://www.refinishing.org/ in Sterling on 2/27. He is very good.
    give him a call.
