Good luck - I spent too much at Calico Corners a few years back so I'm going with independent places.

 

I recently had S & S do some work on three chairs we have. Scott did a terrific job at very reasonable prices. I had a chance to see some of his other work at the shop and he really does a fine job. He does not do reupholstery though, but he was able to recommend someone else for this. I also got estimates on two other pieces I would like to have refinished.

As a side note I did have Restorations Unlimited give me estimates on the same pieces. In all cases the estimate was three times the amount that S & S quoted me.

 

I have had work done by Restorations Unlimited. Although they are more expensive than other companies, there workmanship was excellent. You most definitely get what you pay for with them.
