For Sale Garage Sale for Haiti - this Sunday!!

    If you are like us, you are watching the recent tragedy in Haiti unfold on TV and feeling desperate to help. Each of us can help in our own little way and all those little ways add up to making a difference! Friends and I will be having a “Help for Haiti” garage sale this Sunday from 9 -12. ALL proceeds will benefit the people of Haiti via cash donations to the Red Cross and Catholic Relief Services.

    The sale will be at 42885 Ridgeway Drive, Broadlands. Items for sale will be household decor, children’s toys and clothes, women's clothing/accessories, etc.

    All items not sold will be donated to Haiti (if items are still needed) and Goodwill.

    If you are interested in donating items for the sale, please contact me via PM.

    Thanks to all neighbors who donated or stopped by to shop. Despite the rain, the sale was a big success and we have a very nice contribution to make towards Haiti Relief.

    That being said, we have a lot of GREAT children's items left that were donated by many, many families in Northern Virginia. I think the rain deterred a lot of mom's with young ones from coming out. So, I would be happy to continue the sale for the rest of this week - all proceeds still going to Haiti. Due to the volume of products I can't take pictures, etc but would be happy to show ppl stuff for the rest of the week.

    Here's what we have w/ prices or best offer:

    3 different baby swings - 2 fisher price kinds, graco $20 each
    1 graco infant carseat w/ 2 bases $45
    2 infant playmats $5 for small tummy time, $8 for large (gymini type)
    Double infant stroller if Sunny wants to sell! (Baby Trends)
    2 Bouncy Seats $12 each
    1 jump and go (for doorway) $10
    2 crib bedding sets - 1 is green/white polka dot from PB kids (3 pieces) $40
    1 has animals - looks gender neutral - 4 pieces $35
    Probably over 400 items of baby boy clothes - from infant - 4T - $3 per item
    Some Baby Girl clothes - all different sizes $3 per item
    Small assortment of baby toys- prices vary
    Crib Mobile - $9
    Pack n Play - $20

    All items will be available through the end of 1/28 then I need my garage back. :) Any additional money we can raise for Haiti would be great!
