Gardening, Local Food, and Wellness Festival this Sunday!

The second annual Grow Your Health Festival, located at Woodson High School in Fairfax, will include classes and exhibits on beginning and advanced gardening, local food sources, proper nutrition for families, a“pop-up”café selling farm fresh meals from local vendors and more.

For parents who are concerned about the quality of the food their family eats and the direct impact that food has on health, Grow Your Health provides a great opportunity to learn how to start their own garden, tend to community and school gardens, and source local food. The sky is the limit for what we can do to support our local economies, improve our health, and create healthy thriving communities that improve the quality of our food.
