Go Green and help! Naturalist's plea for assistance at May 3 Community Eco event

One resident has been trying to plan this community celebration. Please help Oya Simpson and volunteer to help with this event.Pls check out the info below.

Broadlands will receive it's certification on May 3rd as "Wildlife Habitat Community". Only other communities in the area that are certified are Great Falls, Reston, Arlington and South Riding.

Wildlife Habitat Committee needs 5-6 people to help at this event. Below list is what I need help with. At this point if I can't find any help I may be forced to cancel this event. There are a lot of vendors participating by donating their time and products. We also have schools and scouts attending. I can not by myself manage their staging and logistical needs. I wish I could. We will also need help with crowd control.

Adding this event on the bulletin board on Claiborne for May.
Being the "host" for the vendors that will be arriving at 9-930am.
Moving and setting up tables/chairs from the Community Center
Getting/Setting up/taking down the AV system
Working the popcorn machine
Preparing the nature center

May 3rd event is going to entertain and inform families about this accomplishment and future goals. Pls see the April newsletter for more info.
