Just wondering if anyone has a recommendation on what type of cleaning/polishing product to use on granite?

Here is a link to the site that I have used their products. Great information as well for tips. http://www.granitegold.com/

To get a general shine, after cleaning quickly - try windex. Someone showed me how this works and I tell you, it really makes it look nice as a finishing step to shine.

And I would recommend that a good deep polishing is a good idea once a year, with a buffer and cleaner/polisher and conditioner.

I use windex daily --- but make sure its the ammonia free kind. I think it works better than anything else I've tried that is specially designed for granite!

I have to agree - I use Windex several times a day on our granite. I have tried the more expensive granite cleaning products and nothing has worked as good as Windex.

Granite Gold rules! Got mine at Costco. Includes a cleaner and a polisher. Shines up nicely and makes it silky smooth to the touch.

Where did you find Windex daily? I can't find it anywhere. The regular has amonia so I can't use that. What about Windex Multi Task with Vinegar? Is that ok to use? I know vinegar is safe on granite as I've used it along with baking soda twice on a stain (our coffee pot was leaking and we didn't realize it) and it took it right out.

    Thank you!

I think they are stating they use Windex on a daily basis. Not that the name is Windex Daily.
