Jim and Teresa Gallion's Wildlife Gardening Adventures in Walkersville, MD provides consulting services for homeowners, businesses, schools and places of worship who want to enhance or create a wildlife friendly property and encourage the use of native plants in the plan. Jim and Teresa also administer educational opportunities such as presentations, personal trainer services in your garden and draft landscape designs with wildlife in mind. Their property is certified with the National Wildlife Federation's Backyard Wildlife Habitat program, The Maryland DNR Wild Acres program, Windstar Wildlife Institute, Wildones Natural Landscapers and The Univ. of MD. Master Gardeners Bay-Wise program.

Jim and Teresa have been featured in national and local publications as well as The Bloomin In The Garden Television Show, Maryland Public Television "Outdoors Maryland" segments on Hummingbirds, Backyard Habitats and Butterfly Gardening. We also volunteer time with The National Wildlife Federation as trained Backyard Wildlife Habitat Stewards, The Maryland Native Plant ImageSociety Catoctin Chapter, The University of Maryland Frederick County Master Gardeners, Community Commons of Frederick and Thorpewood in Environmental Education.

Jim is a graduate of The School of Landscape Design. And both Jim and Teresa are certified advanced level in Native Plants with the University of Maryland.

I met Jim during Home and Garden Show in DC. He was volunteering at the National Wildlife Habitat display as a Habitat Steward. His services cost a lot less then landscaping companies. He will be attending our May 3rd Certification event at the Nature Center at 10:30a-12:30p
