Summerbrook pool is already over crowded on the weekends. I am concerned that when Broadlands is full, this is going to create a huge problem with no more pools or no more "family" pools being built. This will also impact the tennis courts.

the other pools aren't crowded at all.. given that we have variable styles of pool.. its ashame that one is so popular.. but I'd hate to have only one style of pool too.

I just wish the water was warmer in that pool.. don't go there much for that reason

How do you get access to these pools ? Is it part of your HOA fees ?
Or do you have to pay additional fee ? thank you.

Yeah I know the other two pools do not attract a huge crowd, hence why we offer pool passes to outside the community and as they get more crowded those passes will be eliminated. But Summerbrook fills up even now - I can't even imagine when we are full what is going to happen. I think the idea for the pool was genius. I love it, but sadly I wish they had planned for more than one type of these pools in a community large with small children.

Access to the community pools is one of the benefits of being an HOA member. You get passes for your family as well as guest passes good for 10 visits.

Watch for more information on pool passes in the Broadlands newsletter, as well as mail from the HOA as we get closer to Memorial Day.

Will the Broadlands be opening up any outside memberships at their pools this year?

Yes, we plan to sell 200 memberships at $400 each for use of the Community Center and Southern Walk pools.
The first $30,000 generated will go towards the HOA budget and the remaining %50,000 would go towards purchasing equipment for the pools.

How would one go about getting one of those memberships?

if they're that crowded, you'd think all the little kids adding water would warm it up [}:)]
