Have I been Hacked?????

Help!!!!! My computer has been really acting up and then today I noticed that I did not receive any emails which is so odd as I subscribe to several newsgroups.

I just checked and found the following message in my inbox. I have no idea who this person is or what they are referring to. Advise is most welcomed!

gotta love spammers.... it is an ongoing battle keeping their messages out of your inbox... there are alot of packages out there that help you filter mail... Bayesian classification is one of the better ways to filter it.... Some programs like spamassassin, dspam, and spampal, etc. will help you alleviate, for the most part, the spam, by recognizing common words and phrases used by spammers...

if you are using windows and pop3 (not webmail like yahoo, etc..) ... spampal is a decent freeware program which will help...

if you are using webmail (like yahoo, hotmail, gmail), you are for the most part relying on their spam controls unfortunately....

 

So you're saying this is a sophisticated spam because I really have been quite fortunate in not getting much spam. But what do you say about hardly getting any emails today? That is just too weird.

 

no, it looks like normal spam to me.. I get stuff like that all the time

 

okay....well at least the email seems to be more on track today.
