    All,
I am writing to find out if anyone else has had a similar experience with High Sierra's management of the pools. I am writing specifically about the Summerbrook pool. On at least 3 occasions, my wife has witnessed pool staff dumping chemicals into the pool while the pool is occupied. Twice, gallon containers were dumped directly into the deep end of the pool, and yesterday a chemical was added into each of the filter locations. Is this normal procedure and more importantly is this safe? On the first 2 occasions we contacted Wes, and on each occasion we've refused to let our children back into the pool and have left the facility. This is our 4th season using the pools, and in the 1st 3 seasons, we never saw NV pools treating the pools in this manner without closing the pools for a period of time to let the chemicals circulate through the pools.

    Thanks
    Peter

I can only speak on my experience with my parents pool growing , but most/all chemicals we used were safe to dump while others were swimming. The only time we didn't swim was when they had to "shock" the pool with a large amount of chlorine, but that only happened occasionally, and we didn't swim in it b/c we didn't like the strong chlorine smell.

Chemicals should never be added directly to any pool while people are in it.
