Hillside's Sock & Underwear Drive for the Needy

During the next few weeks Hillside Elementary School is holding a "Sock and Underwear Drive" to benefit the residents of Loudoun County during the upcoming holiday season. Students are bringing new socks and underwear to school each morning and placing them in a container to be sorted by volunteers at the end of October. The drive began September 14 and will run until October 27. We are encouraging all members of our community to get involved and contribute to this very worthwhile effort.

The Holiday Coalition will be distributing these items during the months of November and December to families in need. You can read more about the Holiday Coalition at www.holidaycoalition.org. Thanks to all the Hillside Hawks participating in this drive and we look forward to an awesome accumulation of Socks and Underwear!
