Thanks for posting this. I called them to see what they needed because we have tons of clothes we could donate, as well as other household items. And, food, of course. They told me they are not accepting donations but they have a list of 12 other organizations that are taking them. Some local - like Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, Gifts in Kind, etc. But they are not physically taking any.

You can, however, offer your time and volunteer in their office to help, or be part of their program to go to Miss./LA and volunteer there. Just an FYI.

If you heard this differently than I did, please let me know.

Christina, I did indeed hear differently. I asked for the director, Carol, not a volunteer as they often do not have the most up to date information.
Either way, Catholic Charities in Sterling is accepting donations as well as you pointed out, as are many others. We are trying to get a local drop off center over at the Broadlands Shopping center.
I will post here as things progress.
