I have been in the community over 8 years and have found an excellent person for my HVAC needs, Steve Thomasson, 703-708-9227. I noticed his name mentioned on this forum so I wanted to add my recommendation to the existing questions and threads. Steve’s business is run out of Sterling, VA and he is very familiar with the types of homes in our area, the heating and cooling units that have been installed and the common problems they have. He has fixed my ACs when they won’t run or only blow hot air, he fixed the igniter in my furnace (heating unit) when it would not light this winter, he has added a humidifier to my heating system, he has installed new AC units for neighbors, and he has also been brought in by local contractors finishing our basements to complete all the cooling, heating, and duct work necessary for the new rooms. Steve does the work himself but his helpers are just as friendly and knowledgeable as he is. Excellent service, always responds, trustworthy, highly recommended.
