qzpmal - What are you comparing OB costs to? As I have never gone "comparison shopping" I'd just like to know what you are comparing this to. - Thanks!

I have reviewed the metrics that OB uses to establish their rates. This includes the competitor rates they reference as well as the bit rate calculation they used for 2006. I think I have the 2007 one as well but am still digging. The comps document is too large to post, but I did post the letter outlining the internet calculation. Please notice that they are comparing a 100 MB Internet connection (which they do not have or provide, they have a 100 MB network or Intranet connection) to competitor Internet connection speeds.

    thanks,

    qzpmal

I was able to see the attached PDF file. Quick question. Besides going through this document, what is the agenda for this meeting ? What I mean is what do you hope to accomplish in this meeting ? Thanks.

I have a series of questions related to the notice attached to this post that were brought up to Van Metre during the Nov and Dec meetings. It was requested at that time that I officially submit these questions through armstrong management because Van Metre kept "forgetting" about them. So I resubmitted them one day after the December meeting as well as approximately 30 days ago. So, tonight I expect two things to occur:

    1. Van Metre finally answers the questions
    2. Van Metre votes to fill the vacant resident seats

The board appointed 2 new resident members for 3 year terms. There will not be a vote held at the anual meeting so residents don't have a say in who will be on the board. I did not get a chance to talk to the one resident board member that attended and know nothing about him.

There were a little over 20 residents that attended the meeting and the board had their lawyer there answering questions

I'll let thePea or qzmal detail how well they felt their questions were answered:popcorn2:

Van Metre (Denise Harrover) playing the same game they've played for years.

Sad thing is the 2 resident reps (one of which no one knows anything about) are going to go through the same "games" as Scott, Amy and myself went through, with no light at the end of the tunnel.

VM & OB SOP is: Burn out any of the homeowners who raise any type of concern about the monopoly of the SW HOA contract or isolate each concern to conceal that this is a wider issue. Either way Southernwalk Homeowners are getting screwed (and not in a good way) due to the SW HOA/Denise Harrover acting as a dictator.
