Has anyone eaten at J. R.'s Stockyard Inn at Tysons? We heard it was a good place for steaks, etc. Just curious if it is a good place to go for dinner with guests?

    Thanks,

I haven't been personally in many a year but it was good when I use to go. Nice rustic feel, woodsy, not too bright, easy to have a conversation.

Some friends say it is still a good place to go.

There is also "Flemings" in the immediate area. More upscale (Morton's like), Superior wine selection.

    T8erman--

Thanks for getting back to me regarding J. R.'s. I looked online for reviews of Fleming's and we decided to make reservations with Fleming's. Their wine list was extensive and menu looks great!

It will be good to have an "adult" night out with friends without kids. Thanks again for info.

    Merry Christmas!!;)

    T8erman and others--

Thanks for recommendation regarding J. R.'s Stockyard Inn. We went with friends recently who visited us from Tampa and loved the steak. Pretty good meat and price points. Atmosphere is nice and casual.

Great place to relax, talk, drink, etc. (with a babysitter at home--finally!!).

We enjoyed it and recommend for you steak lovers to try. J. R. owns also J. R.'s Festival Lakes in Leesburg, VA and periodically buys beef from local 4Hers at the Loudoun County Fair yearly for his restaurant.

    Good eats--
