G&B Solutions, Inc. has an opportunity for a Jr. Help Desk Specialist in Vienna, VA.

Job Description:

The Junior Service Desk Support Specialist will serve as the initial point of contact for all calls/emails/in person contact with all customers. They will be responsible for logging tickets, basic troubleshooting, password resets, basic over-the-phone training, and escalating problems to the next level of support. They will assist the next level of support on installations, configuration and other appropriate tasks based on their capabilities. Support will be in the areas of custom applications, standard desktop support and various hardware and software. Performs closed-loop communication with end users to resolution. This position requires good troubleshooting skills and first call resolution experience.
Qualifications Required
Job Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in customer/user service in providing technical and end-user support for commercial PC operating systems, COTS, and applications software in person and over the phone.
• 1+ years of experience using a Help Desk ticketing system such as Remedy or Heat
• Strong customer service/phone skills a must.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills required.
