    July Nature Programs

    All programs may involve an outdoor component so please dress accordingly and bring water.Programs are $5 per child unless noted.


    July 10
    Ages 2-4
    10-11:00

    Growing Grasshoppers

    Learn about how grasshoppers mature and introduce the word “metamorphosis.”
    Find out how grasshoppers communicate. Make a “ grasshopper grows up” wheel.
    Read stories and sing songs .



    July 10
    Ages 10-12
    2-3:00

    Nature Games

    Come to the nature center create and play Habitat Rummy. Go on a Microtrek Treasure Hunt . Discover all the animals that live in our environment.







    *July 30
    Ages 5 and up
    1:30-4:00

    Water, Water Everywhere
    Learn about an ocean ecosystem and what we can do to protect the ocean. Complete an ocean related craft. After we learn about this valuable habitat we will watch Nim’s Island ( rated PG) and have popcorn.

    *This program will be 7 dollars per child.
