I'm pretty sure I have a torn miniscus and need to see an orthopedic doctor. The guy who did my hubby's knee totally overcharged for everything and had my husband in a gazillion knee braces (which wasn't necessary now that we know many others who had the exact same thing)! Plus, they wouldn't give us a detailed list from the outpatien center...we're still waiting for it. His outpatient knee surgery cost almost double what my 3 day hospital stay for major surgery cost! I refuse to go back to him!

Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with anyone?

    Thanks!

Dr. Roweley at Landsdowne fixed my torn miniscus, and I highly recommend him.

I also had surgery to fix a torn medial miniscus. I went to The Center for Advanced Orthopedics & Pain Mgmt. When I had my surgery, they were in Sterling. They are now here in Ashburn - Filigree Ct - near corner of Waxpool & Loudoun Cty Pkwy. Here is their website - http://www.advancedorthopain.com/directions.htm

Dr. Mark Madden in Reston did a great job on my torn meniscus just 2 weeks ago. No pain at all right now and very professional.

Dr. Madden's office is in the Reston Hospital. I believe he is a part of Commonwealth Orthopedics.

I agree Dr. Santini has treated both me and 2 of my kids...not much for bedside manner but a good doc with a good office staff

I thought I recognized that name. That's the practice my husband went to, but he saw a different doctor. Thanks!
