I just got a quote from our lawn service people for the following items for $300. I haven't had a chance to shop around to get the best price, so wanted to see if anyone could tell me what you think about the price?

Jobs around the FRONT of the house

    1. Apply top soil to front garden (right and left of the front porch)
    2. Apply mulch
    3. remove any dead plants
    4. cut down over grown plants (trim)
    5. clean around the tree bed and apply top soil, mulch around 2 trees
    6. create the samll wall (don't know exactly what it is called:happygrin:) around 2 gardens and 2 trees with the bricks (I provide the bricks)

He gave me a quote for $300,,, do you think it's reasonable?

It sounds very reasonable without knowing the size of your beds. We paid more than that just for mulching last year.

Thanks for the reply Chase. I ended up just using their service (their appointment for this PM cancelled at the last minute, and they were in the neighborhood, had truck load of soil, and mulch,,,,) - They did a fantastic job ! They worked for 4 straight hours doing everything I wanted them to, so thought $300 wasn't expensive at all. Thanks again !
