I have noticed the past few weeks that one of the end units townhouse on my street is getting their lawn mowed by the HOA's contracted lawn care provider. I have not noticed any other end units getting mowed. How can I get my lawn mowed by them?

If lawn care is not part of your HOA fees, I would suspect that your neighbor has independently hired the company to take care of their lawn.

The other possibility is that, because it is an end unit, the company is just "encroaching" on your neighbor's lawn as they mow the adjacent common area.

I have an end unit and they are mowing half of my lawn b/c the line between my lawn and the common area isn't visible anymore since the survey stakes are gone.

I have a corner lot off of Glebe View and they accidently mowed my entire side yard once! We were happy.
Funny thing is, I have a huge garden so the guy mowed all around my gardens and everything, hee hee.

I suspect that our new landscape company errs on the side of caution, and cuts beyond the common area in these cases.

As Homer mentioned, if there is no visible way to determine where the common area, and the homeowner's property begins, the area will be cut into.
