My north facing back door has a curious stain at the bottom of the trim on one of the door jambs. The baseboard has pulled away from the wall for about two inches (as if the stud is swollen) and the floor has a slight hump in it. I suspect water is leaking in somewhere. I've checked the siding and the trim around the door and the adjacent window but can see nothing out of place. The window above the door looks to be well protected by the eaves so I haven't ventured there. The Van Metre warranty is over. Any ideas?

Since we don't see any sign of water on the floor around the door, I suspect that it is water getting into the wall and causing the stain from the inside. I'll climb a ladder and take another look this weekend.
