Lights on Claiborne Pkwy (Croson Ln.) tonight

All the pathway/street lights were out tonight around 10:00 PM on Claiborne from Croson Ln. thru Wynridge (and all the way thru Nature Center...as far as I could see). I didn't drive past Wynridge to notice rest of Claiborne Pkwy.

Was there a planned outage or is this a normal occurence (energy saving) etc.,? Just curious!

 

This is the second time in a couple weeks that they have been out - I notified Wes about this again. No this is not a normal occurence.

 

I spoke with the electrician this am...apparently some jokester has discovered how to "throw the switch" and disable the lights. The electrician has resolved that issue by making disabling that switch much more difficult. We have also alerted the security guards to keep an eye out for suspicious behavior in the vicinity of the switch.

P.S: BTW, I hope the prankster is caught soon....it is not funnny to switch off the lights for an entire street..
