Local Bike shop?

    Is there a bike shop in the Ashburn community? I would like to get my wife a bike so she can join my son and I on bike rides.

    I think there is one on Ashburn Rd. Just past the fire station on the right, as you are going towards Rt 7. Same shopping center as 7-11 and Big Apple Bagels.

    I don't think we have one. Maybe in sterling. This is one business I wished was in Ashburn. Check out www.performancebike.com for locations. REI, Hudson Trail Outfitters, Dicks, and other sporting stores sell bikes. If you're looking for a basic $100-200 bike then check Walmart/Target/Sears. You may want to check the yellow pages.

    If you know a thing or two about bikes, check the used market. Lots of great deals in the DC area.

    There is a local bike shop on Ashburn road right next to the Jerry's Subs and Pizza. I took both my bikes ther for maintenance and the service was fine. Lots of the W&OD crowd go there.
