I really like the durability of Keen shoes, especially with the longated toe. Check these out: http://www.rei.com/product/763387

Does anyone know of another great pair of mary jane like shoes that are durable like that? If they come in hunter green, navy or nubuck tan that is a bonus!

I am a little confused about your post....are you asking if we've seen these anywhere or are you just posting to say you love the shoes? If its the former, I've seen similar ones at Stride Rite.

I am pretty sure that Next Step Comfort Footwear in Brambleton sells Keens for Kids. Also, check out zappos.com, Stride Rite or Nordstroms.

After a late night search on the internet I definitely see an opportunity for navy or hunter green uniform shoes with style and a little extra rubber up the toe to extend the life of the shoe.

I am looking and will take advice given in this thread to search stores mentioned.

I like J14 and Keen shoes but see no match to what I am looking for. Online Nordstrom and Stride Rite did not seem to have a match either.

The toes on my daughter's navy stride rite's last year were scraped early and the shoes looked junky after a few months. I need extra durability!

Lands End might be another good place to try. They may not have those darker colors until closer to Fall though.

    Good Luck!
