Anyone know how to fix a loose banister? We had placed a pressure baby gate at the bottom of our steps. When we took the gate off, it had pushed the banister and made it loose. Not quite sure how we can tighten the banister now. Any suggestions or where we can an info. on how to fix it? Thanks.

There should be 2 screws at the base (usually covered by small wood covers) You can sometimes remove the cover and put two screws in eash hole that cross X to grap from both directions. This may help.
