Lost Cat- Please Help

Please help find my kitty- she's a long-haired black and white cat with a white stomach, paws, and a white mustash. She reponds to the name Emmy (also Emma). She had a pink collar with a bell and a name tag w/our phone number as well as a clear flea collar. She went missing on the evening of October 11th from Hunters Green Square. Somebody thought they spotted her over by the playground at Harvest Green Terrace yesterday. She's never been outside and is likely scared to death. She's been part of the family for 8 years and we miss her terribly.

I hope you find her! If you have not already done so, you'll also want to register a lost cat report with the Loudoun County animal shelter - they keep them onfile for one month. Also, contact www.fancycats.org. They can also post an ad on their website re lost cats and they are based out of Herndon so they're local.

Put up posters as well as flyers in the mailboxes and posters at the vets and grocery stores.

Thanks Carol. I actually called you last week about Muffin (when I saw that you were missing your kitty in the Broadlands newsletter). Kind of ironic... I hope you find your kitty too. Maybe yours and mine are hanging out together

 

I remember your call, I did'nt realize that was you!

I sure hope you find your kitty. One thing I can say is that this is such a pet-friendly area do not give up hope! If someone spots your cat, I am confident she would be taken in and cared for.

Another thought..if she's not been out before, try looking inside the drainage holes in your neighborhood. When I was looking for Muffin, I started peeking in them and could see how a cat could hunker in one while it's too afraid to venture out.
