I am hoping that someone that was sledding on the hill across from the Sunoco this afternoon (Sunday, Jan. 30) might have found a brand new pair of prescription glasses that my son lost around 3:30 or so. He took them off to put them in his pocket on top of the hill after being hit in the face with a snowball. He walked across the hill to the side towards the Montessori school and rode to the bottom on our way home. Then, at the bottom of the hill he realized that they were gone. We looked for them for well over an hour with no luck.

We are hoping that someone found them, but have no idea what they would do with the glasses if they did find them. We checked across the street at the Sunoco, but no one turned them in there. If you either found them or heard someone else that did, please respond to this post. Thanks.

Not that anyone has lost any sleep over this, but I wanted to let you know that I actually did find my son's glasses this past Saturday at the notorious sledding hill. One week later and hours of searching later, they were practically staring at me on Saturday afternoon. I am sure that I must have looked at them 100,000 times in my hunting. They were right where I thought they should have been. Call off the posse!

Glad to hear! I bet the red glare from the road flares was making it near impossible to see in the snow! ;)
