Loudoun wine tours?

    Has anyone taken the wine tours? I'm looking for recommendations on companies to use. I've noticed a few online that have specific packages where you have the transportation and are taken to 2 or 3 wineries, but not sure if one is better than the other. If you have any thoughts please send them my way.

    I've never been on an "official" wine tour but my friends and I go wine hoping ourselves. The best ones we have found in a reasonable drive are:

    All in the same direction
    Breaux Vineyards
    Hillsborough Vineyards
    Doukenie Winery
    Notaviva Vineyards

    Out of the way but great wine
    Aspen Dale Winery at The Barn
    Rappahannock Cellars

    Also note that this weekend is the big wine festival at Bull Run in Centreville - http://virginiawinefest.com/
