Does anyone have any experience with any of the martial arts training places in the area? My 14 yo daughter has expressed an interest and there are so many of them I don't know where to start. It would need to be a place that is not real intense. She is not an athlete and she gets down on herself when she can't do something she think she should. She doesn't need an instructor that gets down on her too. She'll do much better in a more supportive environment.

Any experiences or recommendations you would like to share would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

We really like Dragon Yong In (sp?) in the Broadlands Shopping Center. We have been going there since they opened. I have a neighbor whose two boys take classes there as well and she is also very happy with the support her boys receive.

we've been very happy with Tiger Den for our son- 8. I see many kids in your daughter's age group there. They are moving next month to a much larger facility near the Home Depot in Ashburn.
