    Unless otherwise specified, all Master Gardeners Association Meetings are held at 7 PM at the Loudoun County Extension Office, 30 Catoctin Circle SE, Suite B, Leesburg, VA 20175. Lower Level Conference Room.

    July 8: Square Foot Gardening, Linna Ferguson. Linna is an everyday person who is passionate about eating locally and raising her own food. Her passion is to show anyone, no matter their lack or time or space that they can grow their own healthy food. Linna has been growing her own food for over 10 years and her focus is to show people CREATIVE ways to grow food in their back yards. See her website, http://www.foodscaper.com.

    August 5: Welcome to Banshee Reeks, Ron Circe, Manager, Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve. Ron Circe has degrees from Texas A&M in biology with an ecology emphasis. He worked as a research scientist for the USGS for 20 yrs; owned environmental consulting companies in TX and VA, specializing in wetland ecology and has authored over 50 professional journal articles. He has been an adjunct professor at Shenandoah University, Old Dominion, George Mason and VA Tech. He has been the manager for Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve since 2000.


    Sept. 2: Urban Farming, Tyler Brown.
    Tyler Brown is the Project Manager of Real Food Farm, a new urban agriculture project in Baltimore, MD. The Farm is a project of Civic Works, Baltimore's Service Corps, and is selling fruits, herbs and vegetables for local institutions and communities using "hoop houses"�low-cost, plastic greenhouses. The project seeks to utilize unused land, build a model for production-scale agriculture in the city environment, and provide healthy fresh food and job skills for Baltimoreans living in food deserts. Tyler was born and raised in Leesburg, VA.
