Thought I would let you all in on something I just found out about. Please excuse me if this is general knowledge already.

On Monday mornings, the Regal Cinemas in Sterling start showing movies at 10:00--which is slightly earlier than every other day.

So, if you are a Mom, like me, and the kids are in school or you are a Dad who is "working from home" this is a great opportunity to sneak out for a little movie action.

Unfortunately, last Monday there were only 5 of us in the entire theater (and I don't mean in one theater I mean in all 20 of them). So I don't know how much longer this will last.

So spread the word and gather some pals to go catch a movie and maybe Regal will continue this service.

Oh, and by-the-way, if you see a movie that starts before noon, you get free popcorn!!!

    Enjoy!

Is this one of those deals where you can take the (small) children? Or is it a regular viewing where it would be uncool to bring your little ones?

    Sharse-

Depending on the movie. If it's a kid-movie then by all means bring along the kids. I don't suppose anyone would argue with you if you brought a baby to the regular movie and it was quiet during. But these are not "Mommy and Me" movies. In other words, they don't have kid-type deals or special stroller parking in the theater.

I think the purpose of this promotion is to get entertainment-starved, stay-at-home Moms and Dads to come to a morning movie. They don't even offer Matinee prices, you pay full-freight.
