These guys are coming door-to-door trying to sign people up with the normal "your neighbors x and x down the street are doing it, if you sign we can do it cheaper!", etc.

My wife came up to me after talking to one of the salespeople and was going to sign but I told her not yet, that I wanted to research them, etc.

Turns out I found a lot of interesting stuff about them on the web.

    • Seems like a ton of shill reviews on Google. (99% of the reviews are in the same general format and almost every user I checked that was their only review submitted)
    • Some sort of connection to BYU/LDS (not that there is anything wrong with that, but it's a common denominator for some reason)
    • $210 cancellation fee if you have second-thoughts

    Some URLs I found:

Anyways, just beware. I ended up buying some Cy-Kick CS on Amazon for $40 shipped and will spray it with my deck sprayer. Will follow up on my success (Ants are our main problem).

A Moxie rep was walking the streets last week. The Moxie discounted price (because my neighbors signed up and there was a discount because they therefore would be in the area) was $99 per quarter, much higher than HomeTeam Pest Defense and JK Pest.

We've used Superior Pest for YEARS. $85/quarter and they will come out for any reason we need in between the regular visits.

They stopped by my house Thursday afternoon. My wife answered the door and told them to come back and talk to me, they told her no problem but coherst her to reluctantly signed up (some ruse about preserving the discounts) awaiting my opinion.

The sales guy returned after I got home from work. I saw the quote and immediately told him we didn't want it. He then told me we couldn't cancel as we were already on the schedule and that I would have to call the office in the morning to cancel. If I didn't they would enforce the cancellation fee.

Boy that ticked me off, the damn ink wasn't even dry and he's hassling me.

Run away from this outfit, something is creepy crawly about them.
