Nanny Share opportunity

Nanny Share in our (or your) Broadlands home Mon- Thurs

We're looking to host a nanny share in our Broadlands home. Our daughter is 12 months and we'd like to share our nanny with another child (boy or girl) around the same age. Cost would be split between the two families for full-time care. The core hours are 7:15- 5:00 Mon-Thurs. We usually also have one longer day a week of 6:00am- 6:15pm, usually Tuesday. We can be flexible regarding hours and can accommodate a family looking for part-time or full-time hours. Finding the right fit for all of us is most important.

We've employed our nanny since 11/09 and our daughter LOVES her. She has is mature, loving, legal and extremely dependable (never missed a day a work). She has infant care experience, CPR, First Aid and various early childhood training courses. By our choice, they speak mostly Spanish during the day to give our daughter the benefit of the language. The nanny does also speak and understand English fairly well. They go to the park, Nature Center, and for walks daily. Most notable is our daughters love of music which we credit to their singing and dancing throughout the day. They also attend a local music and movement class at the Broadlands Community Center 1 day a week which they walk to.

We want to provide our daughter more social interaction with a playmate about her same age. The cost savings of another family is also a plus. We are a smoke- free, pet-free family. I typically work from home 2 days/ week. (I am a Federal government early childhood program manager.)

We are still looking for a family with a 1-2 year old to share our nanny. Cost would be $9/hr per family for shared hours. $15 for single child rate (non-shared hrs.) She is an excellent nanny & we want to be able to keep her employed. She works Monday- Thursday only. She is not available Friday, Sat or Sun. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
