Need a Veterinarian Quick!

We got a puppy for Christmas. Hey! The bad news, just as quick, the pup came down with pnemonia and is in the Leesburg Emer Vet Hospital. We'd like to hook up with a long term vet and transfer care. We've had some suggestions but thought I'd through it out for comment. Dr. Grasso and Dr. Pease (sp - Leesburg) have been recommended by a couple. Comments and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for the help.

 

We take our dog to Dr Grasso at the Ashburn Farm Animal Hospital. We have had other pets and gone to other vets but haven't found any as good as her. She is really great and I would highly recommend her.

We take our dog to Adams Mill Vet Clinic in Great Falls/Reston area. Although not convenient, they are amazing. In particular I would see Dr. Adams or Dr. Davis. They are incredibly through. I have used them for years and referred tons of people to them and have heard nothing but positive feedback. They tend to be conservative but are agressive at the same time, if that makes sense. Their number is 703.757.7570. They are near the intersection of Rt 7 and Baron Cameron. Good luck!!

 

I can't rave enough about Dr. Pease at Catoctin Vets. He is knowledgeable and reasonably priced.

I've used Dr. Schwarz at the Clocktower Animal Hospital off of Centreville Road for years. Even when I was overseas in the third world, he'd communicate with me via email whenever I had questions about care. He also provided me with the most extensive feline emergency care kit before I had left the States. I have found him and his staff to be the most compassionate and professional individuals.

 

We have used the Lessburg Vet. Hospital for years. Dr. Strickland and the staff are wonderful.

 

Thank you for all the quick responses. We ended up going to Dr. Pease, as he was closest to the Leesburg Emergency. Glad to hear there are so many good care givers in the area for pets.
