CHADD, the nation's largest non-profit advocate for Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder, is pleased to announce the formation of a new support group for parents of children with ADHD.

The Loudoun County CHADD Parents Support Group will meet the second Tuesday of every month from 7:15 - 8:30pm. The next meetings are October 11, November 15 and December 13.

SuccessLab Learning Centers is hosting the meetings and providing refreshments. SuccessLab is located at 20660 Ashburn Road in Old Town Ashburn near the fire station in the same plaza as Jerry's Subs and 7-Eleven.

The purpose of the Support Group is to provide a place where parents can come to be heard, be understood and help each other with their unique struggles...and also learn about the amazing qualities children with ADHD possess. The group will provide positive, practical solutions and action steps to help families affected by ADHD thrive.

For more information, please contact CHADD Loudoun County Coordinator Kirk Martin. He can be reached via phone at 703-508-7908 or email at kirk1martin@aol.com.

Adults interested in a support group are also encouraged to contact Martin as plans are being made now to start a group specifically for adults with ADHD.
