    Fellow Foodies--

Just heard that in Reston Town Center there are upcoming restaurants for 2008. The following restaurants will be soon at Reston Town Center (RTC)--

Great American Restaurants (GAR) announced that a NEW restaurant concept will be at the NEW section being current built across from BIG BOWL at RTC. The concept restaurant will be called JACKSON'S MIGHTY FINE FOOD which will be a "cross" of Coastal Flats and "retro foods" (i.e. deviled eggs, mac and cheese). It will open September 2008. GAR also owns SWEETWATER TAVERN. Web site info is--

Also, Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises (LEYE) who is also opening WILDFIRE at Tysons Galleria will also open a "French Restaurant" called MON AMI GABI will open at RTC in June 2008. LEYE also owns BIG BOWL. Web site/info is--

Finally, Washington DC's PASSION FOOD HOSPITALITY will open a "Seafood-Themed Restaurant" not yet named in the Fall 2008--I believe. Web site is--

Any news about a GAR at Brambleton Town Center? Doesn't seem like much is going on over there (since the theaters opened).

    TechHead--

As far as I have been told--they (GAR) are still considering that option. I suppose once the RTC location of their new concept is "up and running" that GAR will look at the Brambleton location.

    We shall see--

I know someone in the upper management in GAR, and he said that they don't like locations with light lunch crowds. So I doubt they would put one close to the broadlands, but I would love it if they did.
